Bill Bailey 
Services for Bill Bailey, 58, Adel, are at 4 p.m., Sunday, May 25, 2003 at the  
chapel of Boone-Lipsey Funeral Home in Adel. The Rev. John Hendley and the Rev.  
Nelson Acosta will officiate and interment is in Lenox City Cemetery. Mr.  
Bailey died Friday, May 23 at his residence. Born Dec. 4, 1944 in Vero Beach,  
Fla., he was a son of William Adrian Bailey and Oma Jean Thorpe Bailey. He was  
married to Pearl Condrey Bailey of Adel. He was of the Baptist faith, a truck  
driver and served in the U.S. Army as paratrooper in Vietnam. He lived in Adel  
for the past 21 1/2 years. Survivors include his wife, Pearl Condrey Bailey of  
Adel; a daughter and son-in-law, Felicia and Paul Phelps of Thomasville; four  
sons and daughters-in-law, Larry and Elena Dillard of Norman Park, Ricky and  
Becky Dillard of Sparks, Alan and Sonya Dillard of Sparks, Randy and Dee Dee  
Dillard of Adel; parents, William Adrian and Jean Thorpe Bailey of Metcalfe; a  
sister, Sheila Marshall of Metcalfe; mother-in-law, Melvie Ash of Adel; special  
trucking buddy, Rambo; 18 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. The  
family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. --
