Atkinson County Citizen - September 3, 2015
 Mrs. Marjorie Fender Crosby, age 79, of Pearson, GA. passed away Saturday, 
August 29, 2015, at Shady Acres health and Rehabilitation Center in Douglas, GA. 
after an extended illness.
 A native of Atkinson County, Mrs. Crosby was born May 30, 1936, daughter of 
Aubrey Foster and Clara Fussell Fender. She was a homemaker and of the 
Protestant faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a 
sister, Florence Fender Morgan and her husband, Curtis Crosby.
 Survivors include, son, Jerome Crosby and wife Tammy of Willacoochee; brother, 
Foster F. Bo Fender and wife Francine of Pearson; four sisters, Aubrey Lee 
Kirkland of Willacoochee, Patricia Kirkland of Pearson, Faye Vickers of Douglas, 
Betty Ann Metts and husband jimmy of Pearson, GA; two grandchildren, Jay Crosby 
and wife Vonda of Douglas, Tiffany Eve Martin and husband Matthew of 
Willacoochee; three great-grandchildren, Tyson Crosby, Layla Crosby, and Bella 
Crosby; several nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.
 Funeral services for Mrs. Crosby were held Sunday, August 30, 2015, at 3:30 
p.m. at Relihan Funeral Home with Rev. Raymond Cason officiating. Special 
musical selections included How Great Thou Art rendered by Tiffany Crosby 
Martin with Lisa Sutton accompanying on the keyboards and I Can't Even Walk 
Without You Holding my Hand rendered by Jason Fender and Berrien Sutton with 
Berrien Sutton accompanying on the guitar. Soft music for the prelude and the 
postlude was played by Lisa Sutton.
 The interment followed at Satilla Memorial Gardens with special song Amazing 
Grace sung at the gravesite. The eulogy was given by Foster F. Bo Fender 
brother of Mrs. Crosby and closing prayer was offered by Rev. Raymond Cason.
 Serving as active pallbearers were Jay Crosby, Matthew Martin, Justin Fender, 
Jason Fender,,,,,,,,,, Greg Waalker, and John Sheffield.
 Relihan Funeral Home in Pearson, GA, was in charge of the arrangements.
