Death of Mrs. J.M. Jones

Mrs. J.M. Jones died at the home of her husband at Tifton last Sunday after a 
long illness, having been in bad health for several years.  Mrs. Jones will be 
remembered as Miss Fannie Wallis, daughter of Mr. Bland Wallis and lived in 
Buena Vista until her marriage with Mr. J.M. Jones who moved to Pelham from 
this county several years ago.  The remains were brought to Buena Vista and 
buried in the Methodist cemetery Monday afternoon.  The funeral services were 
conducted by Rev. R.L. Wiggins.  Mr. J.M. Jones, the husband and Mr. Earnest 
Wallis, a brother of the deceased, accompanied the remains to Buena Vista.
