 Ethel Novella Williams, 96, of Tifton, formerly of Nashville, died Oct. 31, 2
2011 at Tift Regional Medical Center.
 She was born Dec. 24, 1914 in Berrien County to the late Joe Harley and Annie 
Belle Fender Roberts. She was a homemaker, former owner of a ladies apparel 
store, and together with her first husband, was an early owner of The Log 
Cabin. She was a member of Nashville First Baptist Church. She was the widow of 
Alvah Candy Garrett and Horace Williams. She was also preceded in death by tw
two brothers, Bryant Roberts and W.E. Roberts and sister, Leona Browning.
 Survivors include son, Clifford Bayne Garrett of Orlando, FL; grandchildren, D
Debbie of Graves of Chula, Cliff Garrett and Chad Garrett, both of Orlando, FL, D
Danny Garrett of Monroe, two great grandchildren.
 A graveside service was held on Nov. 4 at 11 a.m. at Westview Cemetery with 
Rev. Larry Layfield officiating. Songs on CD included Amazing Grace.
 Selected family members served as pallbearers.
 Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
