Born March 27, 1952, in Tift County to the late Roy C. and Marie Dillard Watson Watson, he was raised in Irwin County and moved to Fitzgerald eight years ago from B from Berrien County. He was a former heavy equipment operator with Tift County, Ben Hi Ben Hill County and Wilcox County road departments. He was a member of the Watson Watson Motorcycle Club and enjoyed riding motorcycles with family and friends. He was He was a loving husband, father and grandfather who enjoyed working with his hands, hands, including woodworking and mechanics. He is survived by his wife, Dinah S. Watson of Fitzgerald; children, Cheree Watso Watson Miller of Fitzgerald, Tesa (Raymond) Barnes of Enigma, Wendy (Jeremy) Hunte Hunter of Lancaster, SC, Craig (Kay) Watson of Fitzgerald, Bubba (April) Watson of En of Enigma, Carolyn (Stacy) Griffin, T.J. Youngblood, Ryan Youngblood and Karlee Young Youngblood, all of Fitzgerald; 11 grandchildren; sisters, Earnestine Cosper of Tifto Tifton, Shirley Averitt and Dwinnon (Carol) Miller all of Alapaha; Sue (Duck) Mitch Mitchell of Irwinville and Vicky (Mike)Tucker of Pace, FL; brother, Dale (Cind (Cindy) Watson of Ocilla; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his paren parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Dawn Watson, brother, James Henry Henry Watson and sister, Peggy Watson. Funeral services were held Sept. 17 at 2 p.m. at Paulk Funeral Home Chapel in Fitz Fitzgerald with Bro. John Williams officiating. Interment was in Turner Church Cemetery in Enigma.
