Written: May 12, 1812

Will Book 1 Page 101 is the will of Jacob Jennings, early pastor at Dunlaps 
Creek & who earlier in life had served as a doctor in the Rev War from NJ.  He 
wills:
To my beloved wife Hannah (she is as his 2d wife, widow of Dr Adam S. Simonson 
of Uniontown Pa buried in old Pres g.y. & sister of Uncle Col John Carnahan & 
James Carnahan) in lieu of dower, full one third part of all my personal 
property, after payt of debts, thereout, also the mansion house & all the farm 
whereon I now live, during widowhood.  He then gives:
To my grandson Samuel Kennedy Simonson (might be her grandson) $120 if he gives 
evidence to Nathaniel Breading, one of my Exrs of reformation & states he is 
now at sea.
Then gives bals of estate to his children ie:
To Samuel Kennedy Jennings
To Obediah Jennings
To Jonathan Jennings
To Anne, Mitchell, wife of David J. Mitchell
To David Jennings & to my grandchildren, viz:
To Samuel Carnahan Jennings
To Maria Jennings
To Jacob Jennings

children of my deceased son Ebenezer Jennings 1/6 of the estate, they to 
receive their father's full equal share.
Appoints friend Nathaniel Breading & son Obediah Jennings of the town of 
Washington (Pa) Exrs.  Dated May 12, 1812 Jacob Jennings (seal)
Witnesses: James Cunningham, Andrew Porter.
     Probated Feby 19, 1813
