I Samuel Gallatin of Fayette County, Penna., considering the

publish this my last Will and Testament. First: It is my wish that
aftermy decease, allmy just debts including funeral expenses and the

which I now live and with it I bequeath to her all my personal estate
to have and to hold the same during hernatural life, and further, it
is my will that at her death, the farm above mentioned to be sold
according to the intestate laws of the sate. Also further should
there remain any personal property at her death, it is my will that
it be equally divided among my said heirs ------ ------. And I
hereby constitute and appoint my son John W. Gallatin as executor of
this my Last Will and direct him to make an equal distribution of the

his last and only will and testament in the presence of us, who at
his request and in his presence have subscribed our names as

           William Cottom

Fayette County (Seal) Be it remembered that on this 10th day of
August A.D. 1878, before me John W. Darby, Register for the Probate
of wills and granting Letters of Administration in and for said
County, personally came Henry Galley and William Cottom the
subscribing witnesses to the foregoing instrument of writing
purporting to be the last will and testament of Samuel Gallatin
deceased who being duly sworn did say that they were present and saw
the said Samuel Gallatin sign and seal the foregoing instrument of
writing and heard him declare the same to be his last will and
testament when of sound and disposing mind and memory to the best of
their belief that they signed their names as witnesses thereto by
request of said testator in his presence and in the presence of each
other. That they knew of no undue influence being used in making
said will or any later will made. In witness whereof I have hereunto
set my hand and the seal of the Registers Office of said County at
Uniontown the date first above written. /s/ John W.Darby
