Will of Benjamin Beal
=================
In the Name of God I Benjamin Beal of Menallen township Fayette 
county and state of Pennsylvania, being verry sick and weak in 
body but of Perfect mind and memory - thanks be given unto God 
calling into mind the mortality of my body and knowing that it 
is appointed for all men once to die do make and order this my 
last will and Testament that is to say principally and first of 
all I give and recommend my soul unto the hand of Almighty God 
that gave it and my Body I Recomend to the Earth to be buried 
in decent christian burial at the Discreation of my friends 
nothing Doubting but at the General resurrection I shall receive 
the same again - by the mighty power of God and as touching such 
worldly estate where with it has pleased God to bless me in this 
life I give Devise and Dispose of the same in the manner and form. 
Item to my oldest Son Nicholas Beal, I give and bequeath the sum 
of ten Dollars. Item to my son Isaac Beal, I give the sum of 
One-dollar. Item to my son Joseph Beal I give and bequeath the 
place wheron my son Aaron now Deseased formerly lived by him the 
said Joseph paying to my Executor the sum of four hundered Dollars 
in eight equal annual payments after my Desease. Item to the heirs 
and representatives of my son Aaron Beal, Deceased my will and 
desire is that my executor purchase one hundred and sixty acres 
of land in the state of Ohio pay for the same and lease it for the 
use of William Robinson Beal and Benjamin Beal the heirs of the 
above named Aaron Beal. Item to my son Elijah Beal I give and 
bequeath the homestead place with all the farming utensils live 
stock of every kind and discription to-gether with all my outstanding 
debts and the cash that may be on hand at my Decease to inable him 
to pay my just debts and the above names leagacys. Item to my beloved 
wife Elizabeth I leave fifty dollars and farther it is my will that 
she be allowed a comfortable maintainance of my estate During her 
natural life and I do hereby Constitute ordain and appoint my youngest 
son Elijah Beal Executor of this my last will and testament and I do 
hereby utterly Disallow revoke and Disanull, all and every other former 
will Legacies and bequests whatever ratifying, and, Confirming this 
and no other to be my Last Will and Testament in writing where I have 
hereunto set my hand and seal this twenty fifth Day of 
July A. D. one thousand and eight hundred and thirty one.

Benjamin Beal as his last will and Testament in the presence of us 
who in his presence and in the presence of each other 
have hereunto subscribed our Names.

Codicil  To each of my Daughters viz. Mary Pearsol, Hannah Byers, 
Rachel Baird, Elizabeth Hibbs and Sarah Ball, I leave and bequeath 
the sum of three hundred dollars what they have severally 
got to be charged to them to make up said Sums.

The sixth day of August 1831. Before me Alexander McClean, Register 
for the probate of wills and Granting Letters of Administration in 
and for said County Personally come Francis Miller, Adam McCrey & 
John Hibbs the subscribing witnesses to the foregoing last will and 
Testament and being duly qualified did respectively declare that they 
saw Benjamin Beal when in his right mind sign and seal the same as & 
for his last will and Testament that no undue influence had been used 
or later will made by the said deceased to their knowledge or belief.  
In Testimony whereof I have hereto set my hand and seal of of the 
Register's Office for the County of Fayette the same day -
