MISS ROBINSON, 22, IS KILLED IN WRECK
Funeral services were held at Mount Zion Lutheran church Saturday afternoon 
for Miss Caroline Robinson, 22, of Macon county, popular Hazlehurst school 
teacher, who was killed in an automobile-truck collision about six miles north 
of Hazlehurst on the Macon highway last Thursday night.  Another teacher, Miss 
Kathleen Campbell of Valdosta, also was killed and a third. Miss Mary Louise 
Turner, was critically injured.  Two young men also were hurt.  The party was 
en route to a basketball game.  The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A.B. Robinson of 
Macon county, Miss Robinson was a graduate of Oglethorpe high school and 
Georgia State College for Women, Milledgeville.  Besides her parents, she is 
survived by two sisters, Niss Emily Robinson, Chauncey teacher, and Miss Nell 
Robinson, Oglethorpe; one brother, Alva Robinson, Oglethorpe.  Senior boys of 
Hazlehurst school were pallbearers and the entire class served as an honorary 
escort
