 Barney Marlin Ray, 74, of Hahira died Feb. 23, 2011, at his residence.
 Born Nov. 25, 1936, in Berrien County to the late Roin Vanton and Rhoda 
Calendar Bennett Ray, he was a retired Tech SGT in the United States Air Force 
with 20 years service; retired with Civil Service as a body shop repairmen; 
member of DAV and N.A.R.F.E.; also member and deacon of King's Chapel Baptist 
Church. He is preceded in death by his wife, Lillie Susan "Sue" Ray who died in 2
2008.
 Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Nancy Faye and Terry Brogdon o
of Nashville, Peggy Gwendolyn and Charles Parrish, Mims, FL; son, Earl Larry R
Ray, Hahira; 10 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren.
 Funeral services were held Feb. 27 at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral 
Home with the Rev. Scott King officiating. Wayne and Nell Boyette sang "Amazing Gr
Grace," Beulah Land" and "Old Ship of Zion."
 Interment will full military honors was held at Bennett Family Cemetery.
 Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements
