 Jesse Donald "Don" O'Quinn, 74, of Valdosta died July 25, 2005.

 Born May 31, 1931 in Cook County to the late Mallie J. and Mae Blanton 
O'Quinn, he was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and retired Civil Service from the 
Naval Air Station in Jacksonville, FL. He was a member of Northside Baptist 
Church where he had served as deacon, had received his doctorate degree in 
ministry from Luther Rice Seminary and had served as interim minister for 
churches in the Valdosta Baptist Association, South Georgia and North Florida. 
He owned and operated Don's Barber Shop and served as program chairman of the 
NARFE local chapter #1044.

 Survivors include his wife, Nancy O'Quinn of Valdosta; son, Scott O'Quinn of 
Valdosta; sister, Betty Willis of Valdosta; brother, George O'Quinn of 
Fitzgerald; two grandchildren.

 Funeral services were held July 28 at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Carson McLane 
Funeral Home with the Revs. Rick Stevens and Bob Willis officiating.

 Interment was in Sunset hill Cemetery.

 Carson McLane Funeral Home in Valdosta was in charge of arrangements.
