 Clayton Morgan, 83, of Valdosta died April 4, 2005 at Tift Regional Medical 
Center in Tifton.

 Born July 16, 1921 in Coffee County to the late Elijah and Mae Murray Morgan, 
he was a retired barber and member of Liberty Faith Holiness Church. He was a 
WWII veteran of the U.S. Army and was married to the late Ada Varnedoe Morgan 
and the late Ruth Starling.

 Survivors include daughter, Doris Vinson of Shreveport, LA; son, Rev. Harvey 
Morgan of Moultrie; sister, Dollie Mae McKinnon of Douglas; brother, James 
Morgan, Sr. of Douglas; five grandchildren, ten great grandchildren.

 Funeral services were held April 6 at 4 p.m. at Trinity Holiness Church with 
the Revs. Freddie Stone and Greg Roberts officiating. Billy Langdale gave a 
eulogy. The Cady Sisters sang "Look What I Traded for a Mansion," "I'll Be 
Waiting at the River for You," "Shake the Master's Hand" and "Wadin' in Deep 
Waters."

 Interment was in Westview Cemetery.

 Active pallbearers were Paul Musgrove, John Sewell, Johnny Burch, Scott 
Sharett, Tim Meeks, William Smith.

 Honorary pallbearers were Sonny Odom, Lossie Boyd, Larry Stevens, Glenn 
Tanner, Riley Kindall, Ed Smith, Wayne Sandlin, Cecil Kimbrall, W.L. Smith, 
Julius Brogdon, Seth Mock, Jerry Dean, Billy Walker.

 Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
