 NAYLOR -- Joe Green Minchew, 87, of Naylor passed away Sunday, April 25, 2004, 
at the Lakeland Villa Convalescent Center.

 He was born on April 16, 1917, in Turner County to Tom Lee and Maggie 
Elizabeth Evers Minchew. He was a retired school bus driver and grocery clerk 
and member of Sabbath Keeping Church of God International. He was the widower 
of Estelle Minchew who died in 1995.

 He is survived by one daughter, Janice Powell of Vienna; two sons, Gene 
Minchew, Purcellville, VA, Harry Minchew, Cordele; six grandchildren; and one 
great-grandchild.

 Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, April 29, 2004, in the 
chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with Pastor Billy Lathan officiating. Gene 
Minshew delivered a eulogy. Musical selections included "Just Over In the Glory 
Land" and "Victory in Jesus." Burial will be held in Wayfare Cemetery. 

 Pallbearers were Jason Ruthrock, Cory Guest, Doug Farmer, Jason Spires, Rock 
Ruthrock, Jeffery Giles.

 Visitation will be held from 7-9 p.m. this evening.

 Lovein Funeral Home, Nashville was in charge of arrangement.
