 Marcia D. Hardin, 75, of Lake Park, died July 19, 2014, at home.
 She was born February 21, 1939, in Nashville to the late R. D. and Nell Whaley. 
She was a dedicated U.S. Army wife and also volunteered at the Arts Center. She 
was preceded in death by her husband, William F. Hardin.
 She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Robin and Gary Parks of Lake 
Park; two grandchildren, Nicolas Parks and Rebecca (Vince) Altobello, all of 
Lake Park; four great-grandchildren, Caleb, Jacob, Avery, and Riley, all of Lake 
Park; one brother and sister-in-law, Don and Evelyn Whaley of Nashville. She was 
a wonderful mother, grandmother and friend. She will be dearly missed.
 A memorial service was held July 26 at 3 p.m. at Center Cross Baptist Church in 
Valdosta.
 Memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Caregivers Time Out (ACTO), 2106 Slater 
St, Valdosta, GA 31602
