Mildred Griner

   Mrs. Mildred (E. C.) Bailey Griner entered into eternal rest Friday, March 
5, 1993, at Riverview Care Center in Bossier City, La., after a brief illness.
   Graveside services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday March 8, 1993, at 
Sunset Hill Cemetery, Valdosta. The Rev. Mac Weaver, Associate Pastor of First 
Baptist Church, will officiate. 
   Born in Adrian, Georgia, June 16, 1898, Mrs. Griner had lived in Valdosta 
most of her life. She was a devoted homemaker, a member of the First Baptist 
Church, a charter member of the Mary Talbot Sunday School Class and a charter 
member of the Valdosta Garden Club.
   She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest C. Griner. Survivors are: 
her three children, Dr. E. Ray Griner, Atlanta; Mrs. Wayne P. Sage, Bossier 
City, La.; Mrs. Emily Bonner, Tallahassee, Fla.; nine grandchildren, nine great-
grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
   The Griner family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until noon Monday 
morning at the Carson McLane Funeral Home.
