 Mary Pearl Cumbess, 69, of Nashville died May 4, 2010, at Berrien County 
Hospital.
 Born Sept. 16, 1940, in Lanier County to the late James Nelson and Pearl 
Baldree Hall, she was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her 
husbands, James Alvie Cook and Dolphus Cumbess.
 Survivors include four daughters, Tammy Steverson of Alapaha, Vernell Clark 
and Dean Hewitt, both of Valdosta, Chris Becker of Poquoson, VA; three sons, 
Audie Cumbess and Al Cook, both of Nashville, Jimmy Cook of Jasper, FL; 25 
grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren, numerous great-great-grandchildren.
 Funeral services were held May 7 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Lovein Funeral 
Home with the Rev. Kevin Stone officiating. "Will the Circle Be Unbroken" 
was played on CD, Billy Steverson sang "Precious Memories."
 Interment was in Good Hope Cemetery.
 pallbearers were Ron Guthrie, Dusty Bailey, Gary Hunter, Josh Moore, Robert 
Trowell, Josh Powell, Abram Mills.
 Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
