  Mae Brogdon, 79 of Valdosta passed away Sunday, Nov. 15, 2009 at Fellowship 
Home. She was born June 16, 1930 in Berrien Co. to the late Homer and Toy 
Singletary Warren. She was a homemaker and retired Quality Control Technician 
with Nashville Mills and member of Poplar Springs Missionary Baptist Church. 
She was the widow of Alfred Brogdon who died in 1983. She is survived by her 
daughter, Edna (Wendell) Boutwell of Valdosta; two grandchildren, Julie 
Ehrenberg, Jacksonville, Fla., Jodie Bryant, Valdosta; sister, Lettie Warren, 
Nashville; and brother, J.D. Warren of Andersonville. Funeral service will be 
held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 18, 2009 in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home wi
with the Rev. Vernon Hughes officiating. Songs on CD included "Precious Me
Memories," "Take My Hand Precious Lord" and "Standing on the Promises." 
Interment will be held in Poplar Springs Cemetery.
 Selected family members served as pallbearers. Visitation will be held this 
evening from 6-8 p.m. - Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
