Born December 27, 1930 in Doerun to the late Marcellous "Pat" and Lois Tittle Dismuke, she grew up in Nashville and lived in Valdosta since 1960. She was a member of Park Avenue United Methodist Church and the Christian Homebuilders Sunday School Class. She was married to the late William Clinton Barrineau. Survivors include a daughter and son in law, Carolyn (DeeDee) and William L. Girardin of Lake Park; son, Byron Brit Barrineau of Carrolton; five grandchildren, Michael Wayne Cargile, Eidson Thomas Cargile of Lake Park, Melissa Sheets Worton of Covington, Katie Girardin (Donald) Altman of Valdosta and Lea Anna Girardin (Johnny) Goodwin of Cummings; four great grandchildren; sister in law, Vivian (L.O. "Buddy") Gaskins of Tifton; brothers in law, Harry (Martha) Barrineau and Everett Barrineau of Tifton; sister in law, Ann (Robert) Chapman of Ludowici; three cousins, Sybil Tittle of Lady Lakes, FL, Lorraine Edge of Columbus, William Guy Clyatt of Valdosta; two nieces, Marcia Gaskins of Valdosta and Tammy (Bobby) Jones of Brookfield; two nephews, Phil Barrineau and Mark Gaskins of St. Augustine, FL. Funeral services were held September 11 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Carson McLane Funeral Home with Dr. Craig Rikard and Rev. V.L. Daughtery officiating.
