Ralph T. Dill

Mr. Ralph T. Dill of Lax Community died Thursday, August 20, 1998, at home. He 
was 86.
Mr. Dill was born May 10, 1912, in Lincoln County, the son of W. J. and Susan 
Dill. He was a retired farmer who had lived in Irwin County most of his life. 
He was a member of Westwood Baptist Church of Coffee County.
Survivors include his wife Nannell Dill of Lax; one son,Terry Dill of Lax; one 
daughter,
Ruth Vickers of Ambrose; five grandchildren; two great grandchildren and one 
sister, Edith Keene ,of Daytona Beach, FL.
Services were held at Westwood Baptist Church of Coffee County, on Saturday, 
August 22, at 2 p.m., with Rev. Robert Couey and Rev. W. D. "Bill" Burkett 
officiating.
Music was provided by pianist, Robbin Vickers and the Westwood Church Choir.
	Pallbearers were Donnie Youghn, Billy Wingate, Gene Youghn, Henry 
Rawlins, Kirby Holton and Henry "Buck" Leslie.
Honorary pallbearers were the Army National Guard Unit from Douglas (Terry's 
Unit).
Interment was held at Ocilla Cemetery.
	Paulk Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
