Capt. Jackie Lee Clark

 Funeral services for Capt.Jackie Lee Clark were held
  Tuesday, February 18 at the Fitzgerald Church of God. Capt. Clark died 
February 16, he was 42.
   The Reverend W. K. "Dock"Livingston, Keith Maxwell and Mayor Gerald Thompson 
officiated at the 4:00 p.m. service.
  Interment was in the Evergreen Cemetery.
  Born March 2, 1954 in Ocilla, he was the son of Hayward Clark and Jewell 
Warren Clark. He was a member of the Fitzgerald Church of God, a graduate of 
Forsyth and ABAC Police Academy, former employee of CSX Railroad, former Deputy 
for the Ben Hill County Sheriff Dept.. member of the Fitzgerald Cotton Mill 
reunion and the GA Peace Officers Assn.
  Survivors include wife: Diann R. Clark; three children: Michelle Clark 
Joiner; Michael Clark, Angella Clark; two grandsons: Brandon Joiner and Hunter 
Lee Joiner, all of Fitzgerald; one brother: Tommy Joe Clark of Fitzgerald; one 
sister: Diane Bennedict of Smyrna;
 an uncle who raised him: Charlie Clark of Fitzgerald;
 aunt: Mainie Nelms of Columbus; grandmother: Ludell Smith  of Fitzgerald.
  Paulk Funeral Home of Fitzgerald was in charge of
 arrangements.
