Ardath Loyd Bradshaw    Ardath Loyd Bradshaw, 94, of Ocilla died July 3, 2005 
at Irwin Co. Hospital in Ocilla.   Born April 28, 1911 in Fayette Co. to the 
late Mattie Paulk and Dr. R. Calvin Loyd, she was a former English and French 
teacher, instructional supervisor, school administrator, and piano teacher, and 
retired as Director of Curriculum for Berrien County Schools. Professionally, 
she held numerous district and state offices in the GA Education Association 
and other academic organizations. She was a member of the Nathaniel Abney 
Chapter of The Daughters of the American Revolution, the Ben Hill Chapter of 
the United Daughters of the Confederacy, a lifetime member of the GA Retired 
Teachers Association, the Beta Pi Chapter of the Delta Kappa Gamma Society, and 
was active in Ocilla United Methodist Church. She was married to the late 
Woodfin Eugene Bradshaw.   Survivors include one son, Scott Bradshaw of 
Peachtree City; one sister, Izora Thomas of Ocilla; one granddaughter.   
Funeral services were held July 6 at Ocilla United Methodist Church with Rev. 
Carroll McMillan officiating.   Interment was at John B. Paulk Magnolia 
Cemetery in Irwin Co.   Paulk Funeral Home of Ocilla was in charge of 
arrangements.
