Colen "Bo" Sirmans

Mr. Colen "Bo" Sirmans of Irwinville died Friday, July 31, 1998, at his 
residence. He was 61.
Mr. Sirmans was born March 30, 1937, in Lanier County, the son of John and 
Avril Sirmans.
He was a retired truck driver for Irwinville Peanut and Grain. He was a member 
of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include one son, T. W. Sirmans of Mystic; two brothers, Olen Sirmans 
and Jackie Sirmans, both 
of                                                                              
                                 Clearwater, FL; three sisters, Edna Browning, 
of Lakeland, GA; Nadine Cook of Clearwater, FL, and Evelyn Zorn of Irwinville.
Services were held at Irwinville Baptist Church on Sunday, August 2, at 4 p.m., 
with Rev. Sonny Pate and Rev. F. M. Henderson officiating.
Music was provided by pianist, Zoe Hobby; guitarist, Wesley Stringer and 
singers, Pat Stringer, Virginia Mixon and Jennifer Stringer.
Active pallbearers were Wendell Marchant, Larry Wheeler, Danny Phelps, Bobby 
Richardson, Jerry Thomas and Allen Branch.
Honorary pallbearers were Jimmy Newell, G. W. McGee, Russell Hickey, Don 
Hickey, Rusty Hickey, Marlin Bryan, Billy York, Jimmy Wiley, Floyd Stripling, 
Donald Harrison, Bob Lewis, Janet Lewis, G. W. Horn, and Matt McCranie.
	Interment was held at  Sunnyside Cemetery, Atkinson County.
	Paulk Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
