James K. Revell

The funeral service for James K. Revell of Perry, who died January 28, 1998, 
was held Friday, January 30 at Perry Church of God. He was 65.
Rev. David Smith officiated at the 11 :00 a. m. service with interment in 
Brushy Creek Cemetery, Irwin county at 3:30 p.m. 	
The deceased was born June 21,1932 in Irwin county to Charles  Wesley and Mary 
Alice Mixon Revell. He had resided in Perry for  43 years, served in the Army, 
the  GA National Guard, retired from RAFB as a inventory and research
 specialist; 10 years as a Houston  County Marshall; a member of the Peace 
Officers Association of Georgia; and a member of Perry Church of God, serving 
many years as choir leader.
	He is survived by wife, Georgia Melton Revell of Perry; three 
daughters: Jamie R. Flowers of  Edgewater, MO, Norma Jean Adams of Roberta, 
Michelle Grantham of Kathleen; three sons: Jimmy K. Revell, Sr. of 
Hawkinsville, David V. Revell of Unadilla, Jeffery K. Revell of Perry; one 
sister: Susie Brannon of Interlachen, FL; one brother:Vernon Revell of Broxton; 
18 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
	Watson-Hunt Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
