           DEATH OF C. T. KING
News was received here yesterday of the death of Mr. Charles T. King, which
occured Monday afternoon at 1:15 o'clock after an illness lasting several
months.
Mr. King was born and reared in this county and was the son of the late
Thomas King, one of Pulaski best known farmers. He lived on his father's farm
six miles below Hawkinsville until about twenty-one years old and then left
for Florida, where he had since resided with the exception of a short time in
this county and at Rochelle.
Until his health failed several months ago he was engaged in the banking
business., being cashier of the Bank of Cresent City, Fla., and under whose
management it was doing a splendid business.
He possessed many admirable qualities and had a bright future before him.
He was a splendid business man and a member of the Masonic fraternity in which
he always took a very active interest, and stood very high. He has scores of
friends in Georgia and Florida who will be grieved to learn of his death as he
was very popular among all classes and numbered his friends and acquaintances.
He is survived by his wife and one little son, his mother, Mrs. C. C. KIng.
