 Hugh F. Hoyt

 Hugh F. Hoyt, 84, of Macon, died Saturday at his residence. Mr. Hoyt 
was a member of Centenary United Methodist Church for 46 years. He was a 
teacher for the Fellowship Sunday School Class. He served in the U.S. 
Air Force during WW II and a member of the VFW Post
 No. 658. He was also a member of the Georgia Wilderness
 Society.
  He was born in Columbia, SC and graduated from Ocilla High School and 
attended Mercer University. He retired from Robins Air Force Base after 
12 years as an electronics inspector.
 He is survived by wife, Anne C. Hoyt of Macon; six children: Patricia 
Wayne of Houston, TX,Verne F. Hoyt of New York City, Robert F. Hoyt,Cary 
M. Hoyt, Mark W. Hoyt and Steve O. Hoyt, all of Macon; 3 grandchildren; 
two sisters: Margaret Robbins and Gertrude Gordon,
both of Richmond, VA.
 Funeral services were held Monday at 11:00 a.m. at
Centenary United Methodist Church with Rev. Bill Jackson Adams and Rev. 
Julian Tucker officiating. Interment in Macon Memorial Park.
He was preceded in death by parents: Hugh F.Hoyt, Sr. and Lula Squier 
Hoyt and sister: Camilla H. Young of Ocilla.
