James Thomas Hartsfield Sr. 

ALBANY  The funeral service of James Thomas Hartsfield, Sr., 75, of  N. 
Magnolia St., Lot 1, who died Thursday August 30, 2007 at Albany Health Care, 
will be conducted Tuesday, September 4, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at Faith Baptist 
Church. The Rev. Jerry K. Deans and the Rev. Paul Wilkes will officiate. 
Interment will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery. 

A native of Irwin Co., GA., Mr. Hartsfield had resided in Albany since 1950. He 
was a retired primary machinist for a number of years with MacGregor Golf, an 
avid fisherman and hunter, Braves and NASCAR fan and was a lead singer in a 
gospel quartet. He was a member of the Men's Sunday School Class and member of 
Faith Baptist Church. 

Survivors include his wife, Louise Landers Hartsfield of Albany; a son, Tommy 
Hartsfield of Pelham; two daughters, Debbie Hartsfield Lewis and her husband 
Tony of Panama City, FL, and Cheryl Hartsfield of Baconton; three sisters and 
their husbands, Joan H. Norman and Tom of Albany, Linda H. Martin and her 
husband Fred, Lee Co., and Wanda H. Moore and her husband Fred of Atlanta; four 
grandchildren, Kellie Hartsfield, Christopher Highsmith, Sabrina Lynn, and 
Nicole Hartsfield; a great-granddaughter, Alaina Faith Hartsfield; and Shirley 
Hartsfield Tester (mother of his children and several nieces and nephews. 

The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the church 
prior to the funeral service on Tuesday.
