 Delia Glover

   The funeral service for Delia Strickland Glover of Bainbridge, who 
died Friday, September 6, 1996 at Memorial Hospital, was held 
Sunday,September 8 at Black Jack Baptist Church in Decatur county.  She 
was 77.
   Rev. Dick Dickinson and Rev. Buck Glover officiated at the 4:30 p.m. 
service with interment in the church cemetery.
   Pallbearers were Denny Brock, Waldo Brock, Greg
  Brock, Coren Hildebrant Jr., Braxton Clover, and Brian
  Glover. Honbrary pallbearers were all male members of Black Jack 
Baptist Church.
 The deceased was born in Decatur county, GA May 10,
1919 where she lived her entire life as a homemaker. The widow of Rev. 
W. C. Glover, she was a member of Black Jack Baptist Church where she 
was very active in the church activities and also taught the Adult Ladies
Sunday School Class for many years. She was a member of
Order of Eastern Star, member of the Bainbridge Decatur
County YMCA and very active in the Bowen Baptist
Association.
 She is survived by two sons:Dr. Jasper L. Glover of Fort Walton Beach, 
FL and Rev.William B. Glover of Warner Robins; four daughters: Wenoah 
Brock of Bainbridge, Betty Hildebrant of Moultrie, Linda
Taylor of Bainbridge, and Carene Wheeler of Irwinville;
two sisters: Lucille Hawkins of Attapulgus, GA and Dorothy Nix of Tampa, 
FL; 21 grandchildren, 46 great grand-children and 2 greatgreat 
grandchildren.
