Atkinson County Citizen - May 28, 2015
  Mr. Foster T. Den Davis, Jr., age 66 of Hiawassee, GA, formerly of Pearson, 
GA, passed away Thursday, May 21, 2015, in Vidalia, GA, following a sudden 
illness.
 A native of Bacon County, Mr. Davis was born July 1, 1948, son of Foster T. and 
Rose Martin Davis, Sr. He had made his home in Pearson for most of his younger 
years attending grade school and high school. He was a 1966 graduate of Atkinson 
County High School and a 1971 graduate of the University of Georgia.
 He was a diehard Bulldog fan and enjoyed tailgating and attending the 
University of Georgia football games. He worked as a salesman for Ruthberry Pump 
Company and later worked for a company selling irrigation systems for golf 
courses. He recently had started his own company Davis Entertainment Network, 
LLC specializing in Management, Promotions, Public Relations, and Concert 
Events. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed hunting and fishing in his spare time. 
He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Pearson, GA.
 Survivors include his parents, Foster and Rose Martin Davis of Pearson; special 
uncle and aunt, Denny Davis and wife Lynda of Waycross; special friend, Rosiland 
Carter of Hiawassee, Ga; several cousins and other relatives also survive.
Funeral services for Mr. Davis were held Sunday, May 24, 2015, at 11 a.m. at the 
Pearson First Baptist Church with Rev. Jerry Worzella officiating.
 Special music included Blessed Assurance rendered by the congregation with 
Margie Mansour pianist and Candace Brown organist accompanying. Soft Prelude and 
Postlude hymns were played by Candace Brown organist.
 The interment followed in Satilla Memorial Gardens.
 Serving as active pallbearers were Richard Johnson, Lamar Woodall, George 
Relihan, William White, Wade Brown, L.H. James, Jimmy Dale Cribb, Travis Ursery, 
and Fred Wilson. All attending were Honorary Pallbearers.
 Relihan Funeral Home in Pearson, GA was in charge of the arrangements.
