De Paula, Lillian Mary SCHENECTADY Lillian Mary De Paula, 84, of the Glendale Nursing Home, formerly of Oakland Avenue, died early Thursday morning, September 23, 2004 at the nursing home. Lillian was born in Schenectady on September 19, 1920, a daughter of the late Giovanni and Olympia Nardacci D'Aversa. She was raised and educated in Schenectady. For 25 years, Lillian was employed by General Electric in Building 28. She was also a member of the company's Quarter Century Club. Lillian was a longtime communicant of St. Anthony's Church. Wife of the late Anthony J. De Paula Sr. whom she married September 20, 1945. Survivors include her son, Anthony J. De Paula Jr. and wife Susan of Saratoga Springs; loving grandmother of Kara J. De Paula of Saratoga Springs; her sisters, Mary Marinucci and husband Peter, Rose D'Aversa, Jennie Gardino and husband Angelo; brother, John D'Aversa and wife Joan; sister-in-law, Mary D'Aversa all of Schenectady, the late Julie Taber, Mario and Alexander D'Aversa. Many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews also survive. A Mass will be celebrated on Saturday morning at 10 from St. John the Baptist Church, Franklin Street, Schenectady. Relatives and friends are welcome to attend. Interment will follow the Mass in St. Anthony's Cemetery, Glenville. Calling hours will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Contributions may be made in Lillian's name to the St. Anthony's Church Tabernacle Fund, 331 Seward Place, Schenectady, NY 12305. Arrangements are by Rossi & Ditoro Funeral Home, Union at N.
