This is a photograph of William Crawford Hooker.   He served Patrick County as a 
Treasurer and banker for many years.  He was also a merchant and very active in 
local politics.   His family was also very prominent in the county at the time.

Additional Comments:
This photograph was posted on Ancestry by Katherine Boaz who was a very prominent 
teacher in the Patrick County Public School system.   In fact, the author of this 
had her as a teacher for two years.  She is also an excellent historian with much 
knowledge.
