  Ted William Knight, 59, of Broxton, died July 23, 2009, at Coffee Regional M
Medical Center, following a short illness.
 A native of Berrien County, he was a welder by trade, an avid hunter and 
fisherman. He was the son of the late Cauley and Nancy King Knight. He was also p
preceded in death by a son, Chris Knight, and two brothers, Ed Knight and Alvin K
Knight. He was of the Baptist faith.
 Survivors include his wife, Sandra Whittle Smith Knight of Broxton; daughter, 
Lynn Knight of Rentz; step daughter, Heather Smith of Broxton; sisters, Nell 
Robb and Carol Dubberly, both of Savannah, Vicki Clanton of Nashville, Dot 
Lavender of Tifton; five grandchildren, Andy Knight and Alyssa Knight both of 
Enigma, Dustin Knight of Nashville, Tyler Fender of Rentz and Drew Knight of C
Cartersville; several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
 A graveside service was held on July 26 at 3 p.m. at Pleasant Cemetery in 
Berrien County with Rev. George C. Paulk officiating. Musical selections 
included "Amazing Grace" by soloist, Glenda Courson and "Go Rest High On That M
Mountain" and "You're Invited to My Mansion" on CD.
 Ricketson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
