  Raymond Lamar Jowers, 79, of Brunswick died April 27, 2015.
 Born in Willacoochee in 1935, Raymond moved to Jacksonville, FL. in 1957, where 
he worked in the plumbing trade. In 1969 he moved to Nashville and became self-
employed in the plumbing business. Raymond became a Mason in 1972 and then 
became a Shriner. In 1979, he moved to St. Simons Island where he formed Jowers 
Plumbing in 1984. Raymond was a people person who loved his family and friends 
and would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need. He loved telling jokes, 
gardening, farming and buying and selling antiques. Raymond was an awesome 
provider to his family.
 Surviving are his former wife, Carolyn Jowers, the mother of his children; 
daughter, Terolyn Jowers Foster; sons, Rad Jowers and Ramie & Heather Jowers; 
grandchildren, Hallie Rae Jowers and Lane Jowers; sister, Annie Mae Jowers; 
brothers, Edward Jowers and Bennie Wayne Jowers. He is also survived by a former 
wife, Joyce Jones and step-children, Donnie Jones, Julie and Mike Kroscavage, 
Robin and Scott Glisson and step-grandchildren, Rachael and Summer Glisson and 
Hannah and Logan Kroscavage and Casey Jones.
 A memorial services was held on Thursday, April 30 at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of 
Brunswick Memorial Park Funeral Home with Rev. Randy Mosley officiating.
