This photo is my 5th great grandparents, Alanson Asberry "A.A." Day (1813-
1902)and his wife, Sarah Ann Bosworth Day (1823-1896). They were married on Oct
8th, 1844 in Columbia co, Ga. They had 6 children: (A) Martin Luther Day (1845-
1931), (B) Rebecca Jane Day Spivey (1848-1871), (C) Joseph Bosworth Day (1851-
1935), (D) * James Asberry Day (1854-1936), (E) Sarah Day (1858-before 1870) &
(F) Elizabeth "Lizzie" Tyfenia Day Cliett (1863-1952). A.A. has been proved by
DNA to be son of Judge Joseph Day and Jane Dunn through both Dunn & Day
descendants. Also A.A.lived in Tranquilla, Jones Co 1846-1849 and was listed
under Joseph Day during this time. Both A.A. and Joseph lived in Jones Co, then
Houston Co. Once Jane died in 1857, A.A. moved to Coffee Co (1866) and Joseph
remarried Mary Hampton, had two daughters and he died in 1867 in Bibb Co.
