Margaret Sapp Cline 

ALBANY  The funeral of Margaret Sapp Cline, 94, of W. Third Ave., Albany, GA, 
who died December 18, 2006, will be conducted Friday at 11 a.m. at Mathews 
Funeral Home. Dr. Paul Luthman and Dr. William D. (Biff) Coker will officiate. 
Interment will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery. 

A native of Douglas, GA, born to Dr. Eli Franklin and Annie Elizabeth Sapp, she 
had resided in Albany most of her life. Mrs. Cline was the widow of Earl H. 
Cline, Sr. and she and her late husband were the co-owners of Cline's Cleaners 
and Shirt Laundry for over thirty years. She was also a loving mother and 
grandmother. 

She was a 1929 graduate of Albany High School, where she played basketball and 
in her senior year she was a member of State Championship team. Mrs. Cline also 
graduated from Norman Park Jr. College. She was a charter member of Covenant 
Presbyterian Church where she was a member of The Women's Circle {pound} 4 and 
was active in visiting the homebound members of her church. 

Survivors include her sons, Allen Cline, Sr. and his wife, Gayle and Gene 
Cline, all of Albany, GA; a sister, Marion Meeks of Albany, GA; eight 
grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Mrs. 
Cline was preceded in death by a son, Earl H. Cline, Jr. and three brothers, 
E.F. Sapp, Jr., Sibbett Sapp and Everett Sapp. 

The family is at the residence of Maggie and Jason Hines, 1518 Fifth Ave., 
Albany, GA 31707. 

The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Thursday at Mathews 
Funeral Home.
