Atkinson County Citizen - August 10, 2006
  Mr. David Cady, age 62, of Douglas, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, August 
2, 2006 at Coffee Regional Medical Center in Douglas, GA.
  Mr. Cady, a native of Coffee County, Georgia was born October 14, 1943 son of 
the late David Willard & Beady Mae Morgan Cady. He was a wholesale route 
supervisor.
  Survivors include his wife, Barbara Wright Cady; daughters, Amy (Greg) Jordan 
of Pearson, GA, Tammy (Rod) Stone & Laura Denning of Douglas, GA; brothers, 
Randolph Cady of Coca, FL, & Daniel (Sheila) Cady, Axson, GA, sisters, Louise 
Hursey of Douglas, GA, JoAnne (Sidney) Meeks of West Green, GA & Willie Mae 
Boltin of Douglas, GA & grandchildren, William Youngblood, Cady Youngblood, Bud 
Stone & Jarrett Stone.
  Funeral services were held 4 p.m., Friday, August 4, 2006, at the Chapel of 
Sims Funeral Home in Douglas, GA with Rev. Jimmy Jordan, Rev. Larry Johnson & 
Rev. Gene Chaney officiating. Special taped selections of "Go Rest High On That 
Mountain," "Amazing Grace" & "The Long Black Train" & "You'll Be There," also, 
Amber & Jimmy Jordan sang, "God Knows" with tape backup, Lois Mills, pianist 
provided soft music for the prelude.
  Burial followed in the Stokesville Church Cemetery in Atkinson County, GA.
  Sims Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
