Mr. A. J. Kidd Dies In Thomasville

Mr. A. J. Kidd, former resident of Cairo, passed away at his home in 
Thomasville last Wednesday after an illness of some months.  Mr. Kidd resided 
in Cairo for a number of years and while here was a valued employee of 
Copeland's Variety Works.  His many friends here will be grieved to learn of 
his demise.  The Thomasville Times Enterprise carried the following account of 
his death:

"Mr. A. J. Kidd died Wednesday after being in ill health for some months.  The 
funeral services were conducted at Laurel Hill cemetery in the presence of 
friends and relatives.  Rev. J. E. Seals, officiated.  Mr. Kidd has been a 
resident of this city for several years and during that time became well known 
to many who had missed him since his illness developed and he was unable to 
keep up his work."
