Jack Horn
Jack Horn, 79, of Moultrie, died Sunday, May 18, 2003 at his residence. He 
formerly lived in Pavo and served in the U.S. Navy as a boatswain's mate second 
class from Sept. 17, 1942 to Nov. 23, 1946. Survivors include his wife, Nina; 
stepson, David G. Almand; stepdaughter, Kathy Almand; stepgrandsons, Michael 
Keller and Justyn Keller all of Moultrie; a stepdaughter, Melissa and her 
husband, Richard Rountree; two stepgreat-grandsons, R.J. and Marc Rountree all 
of Thomasville. Mr. Horn was preceded in death by his mother, Blanche Marie 
Ross; father, Ward D. Combs; and stepfather, Erb Horn. Mr. Horn will be 
returned to his birthplace of Hazard, Ky. Memorials may be made to Colquitt 
Regional Hospice, 2516 Fifth Ave. S.E., P.O. Box 3548, Moultrie, Ga. 31776-
3548. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m., Tuesday at the funeral
