October.

He was a Confederate veteran, serving throughout the war, and losing a leg in
the Battle of Franklin, Tenn. Surviving him are his widow, a daughter, Mrs.
Crowder of Lake City, Fla., and four sons, Oscar, Finn, Rhett and Remar. The
funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon from the family residence on
Madison street in Thomasville, interment following in Laurel Hill cemetery.
