Services for Gladys "Pick" Cooper, 75, of Whigham, are at 3 p.m. today at 
Piney Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Whigham. The Rev. Harry Mitchell will 
officiate, with interment at Crestview Cemetery in Cairo. Active pallbearers 
will be friends of the family. Honorary pallbearers will be the East Bound 
Church Ushers Union. Mrs. Cooper died on Sunday, June 1, 2003, in Climax. Born 
on Aug. 18, 1927, in Grady County, she was daughter of Lillie Mae Borden and 
the late Emory Daniels. She was a housewife and a member of the East Bound 
Church Ushers Union and Piney Grove Missionary Baptist Church. She is survived 
by her mother, Lillie M. Borden of Whigham; a daughter, Jhynell Wilson of 
Cairo; two sons, Wilson R. Cooper of Whigham and Emory Cooper of Cairo; a God 
brother, Ellison Jackson of Whigham; cousins, Johnson Bryant of Cairo and 
Mildred Hammonds of Whigham; a son-in-law, David Wilson of Cairo; 
grandchildren, James Earl (Gloria) Cooper of Uniondale, N.Y., Terrance (Debra) 
Cooper of Lawrenceville, and Noni (Travis) Hunter, Londa Wilson, Felisha 
Wilson, Iesiah Wilson and Sheena Wilson, all of Cairo; six sisters-in-law; 
three brothers-in-law; and a host of other relatives and friends. -- Cloud &
