Robert Kelso Carter
Services for Robert Kelso Carter, 83, Moultrie, are at 11 a.m., Saturday, May 
10, 2003 at First Methodist Church. The Rev. Ronnie Wills will officiate and 
interment is in Westview Cemetery. Active pallbearers are Johnny Bass, Freddie 
Hammack, Kenny Hammack, Ken Hickey, Jimmy Smith, Tommy Rowell and Dale 
Friedlander. Honorary pallbearers are members of the Lena Tyson Sunday School 
Class. Mr. Carter died Thursday, May 8 at Archbold Memorial Hospital. He was 
born in Meigs on Dec. 22, 1919. He was married to Faith Taylor Carter, who 
preceded him in death, and then married Kathryn S. Carter, who survives. He was 
retired and a veteran he served in the Army Air Corps. Other survivors include 
his sons, Frank "Bub" Carter, Dick Carter, Al Carter; two daughters, Merry 
Hicks and Barbara Hathorn; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. A 
son, Robert K. Carter Jr., 
preceded him in death. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the 
American Cancer Society. -- Harrell-Faircloth Funeral Home
