Services for Betty Ann Black, 53, of Buford, are at 11 a.m., Thursday, July 
24, 2003 at Wages & Sons Gwinnett Chapel. Mrs. Black died Sunday, July 20. She 
was employed by Mrs. Smith's Bakery, very active with little league 
recreational sports in Stone Mountain, Youth Sports Association and high 
school sports. She was a partner with the Southern Cheerleader. She was a very 
loving wife, mother and grandmother. Survivors include her husband, James M. 
Black Jr.; sons, Jimbo Black of Monroe, Alan Black of Buford; daughter and son-
in-law, Meredith and Derrick Vaughn of Monroe; mother and stepfather, Minnie 
and Calvin Cannon of Thomasville; brothers, Phillip Britt of Tallahassee, 
Fla., Michael Britt of Thomasville; sister, Holly Fenlon of Orlando, Fla. and 
granddaughter, Macey Vaughn. Flowers are accepted or memorials may be made to 
Atlanta Ronald McDonald House, 792 Houston Mill Rd., Atlanta, Ga. 30329. The 
family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home in
