Mary Louise Belle
Services for Mary Louise Belle, 83, Thomasville, are at 11 a.m., Saturday, May 
3, 2003 at First Unity Baptist Church. The Rev. Charlie Ross pastor and the 
Rev. Patrick J. Gilley Sr. will officiate. Interment is in Magnolia Cemetery. 
Active pallbearers are friends of the family. Mrs. Belle died April 29 at 
Archbold Hospital. Born June 9, 1919 in Thomasville, she was a daughter of the 
late Mary and Ed Williams. She was married to the Rev. Willis Belle who 
preceded her in death in December 1999. She was a member of New Hope M.B. 
Church and Alfresco Social Club. She had lived in Newark, N.J. before moving to 
Thomasville 10 years and was mental health specialist. Survivors include a son, 
Lorenzo Gilchriest; a daughter-in-law, Judith Gilchriest both of Baltimore, 
Maryland; a son, Derrick Harvey Agricola of Thomasville; grandchildren, David 
Gilchriest, Lorena Siegmund, Tiffany Agricola; one great-grandchild; a sister-
in-law, Eddie B. Bennett; a brother-in-law, Richmond Bennett both of 
Thomasville; special godfamily, the Rev. and Mrs. P.J. Gilley Sr. of Cairo; and 
a host of loving relatives and friends. Mrs. Belle will be on view from 10 a.m. 
until the funeral hour at the church with no viewing before or after the
