Flemington, N.J., 96 
Marie R. Bard Stryker, 96, Flemington, N.J., died Thursday, February 15, 2007, 
at her residence. 
Born in Emmasville, Pa., May 3, 1910, she was the daughter of the late John and 
Rose DeShong Bard. She had formerly resided in Three Bridges, N.J., and had 
resided in Flemington 44 years. 
Following the death of her mother, she was raised by the late Frank and Martha 
Bard Spade, Needmore. She had a foster brother, the late Veryl M. Spade. 
Her first husband, Elston R. Mattison, died in 1952 and her second husband, 
Harry E. Stryker, died in 2004. 
Surviving are a son, Franklin Mattison, Bradford Woods, Pa.; two daughters: 
Betty March, Danbury, Conn.; and Muriel Stillwell, Lebanon, N.J.; eight 
grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. 
Funeral services were held in the Holcombe-Fischer Funeral Home, Flemington, 
N.J. Burial was made in Three Bridges Cemetery.
