Margaret A. Jayne

  Margaret Anna Jayne, 83, a resident of the Long Term Care Unit of the 
Fulton County Medical Center, McConnellsburg, and formerly of Creek 
Road, Fannettsburg, died Wednesday evening, Jan. 30, 2002, in the Long 
Term Care Unit.
  Funeral arrangements were under the direction of the Martin R. Brown 
Funeral Home, Orbisonia.
  Funeral services were held Feb. 4 in Orbisonia and Feb. 5 at the 
Frederick and Snowdon Funeral Home, Wilkes Barre, with Rev. Sandy 
Piccione officiating. Interment was made in Saint Vincent's Cemetery, 
Larksville.
  Born Nov. 2, 1918 in Shavertown, Luzerne County, she was the daughter 
of the late Eckley and Bertha (Rosengrant) Kocher.
  She was first married to Donald R. Jayne and later to William 
Maxwell. Both Mr. Jayne and Mr. Maxwell are deceased.
  She is survived by five daughters and two sons: Sandra L. Herman, 
Rockford, Mich.; Donna M. Barrick, Fannettsburg; Donald R. Jayne Jr., 
Pueblo, Col., William E. Jayne, Dunshore; Cheryl E. Smith, Wilkes 
Barre; Margaret J. Jayne, Upland, Calif.; and Abby L. Smith, Lutz, Fla. 
One son died in infancy.
  She is also survived by 28 grandchildren, 10 step-grandchildren, 
three great-great-grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and 
step-great-grandchildren.
  One brother, Levo Kocher of Wyalusing survives.
  Two brothers, Theodore and Byron Kocher, preceded her in death.
  A homemaker, she was a member of Fair Ridge Assembly of God Church, 
RD Shade Gap.
  Memorial contributions should be made to the Fair Ridge Assembly of 
God Church Building Fund, HC 75, Box 3300, Shade Gap, PA 17255.
