	George P. Bard, 93, Bluffton, OH and formerly of McConnellsburg, died 
Thursday, April 9, 1992 at the Mennonite Memorial Home in Bluffton.
	Born September 2, 1898 in Fulton County, he was the son of the late 
Charles and Lydia Mellott Bard.
	He was a member of McConnellsburg Presbyterian Church, where he was an 
elder.
	He was a retired farmer, merchant and cabinetmaker in the Fulton County 
area.
	He marries Cora Nesbitt Bard in 1923. She died October 19, 1978.
	Surviving are a son: Rev. G Terry of Findlay, OH; two grandchildren; 
and on great-grandchild and one sister, Mrs. Ruby Kerlin of McConnellsburg.
	He was preceded in death by one brother and two sisters.
	Services were held at 11:AM Tuesday, April 14 in McConnellsburg 
Presbyterian Church.  The Rev. T. Field Russell officiated.  The burial was 
made in Union Cemetery.
	Memorial contributions may be made to the Mennonite Memorial Home, 410 
W. Elm St., Bluffton, OH., 45817 of McConnellsburg Presbyterian Church, 
McConnellsburg, PA. 17233.
Arrangements were under the direction of the Kelso/Cornelius Funeral Home.
