Frank E. Bard

	Frank Earnest Bard, 73, of Route 2, Warfordsburg, PA., died Tuesday, 
June 27, 1995, at the Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, PA.
	Born April 8, 1922, in Pleasant Ridge, Fulton County, PA., he was the 
son of the late Oliver and Nellie Mellott Bard.
	He was a retired farmer.
	He was a member of the Jerusalem Christian Church, Warfordsburg, and 
was a church deacon, a Sunday school teacher for more than 40 years, and Sunday 
school superintendent.
	He was president of Bedford-Fulton County Christian Conference for 30 
years.
	He was an officer of A.S.G.S. in Fulton County for 25 years.
	He is survived by hi wife , Ina M. Garland Bard, whom he married 
December 31, 1941; two daughters: Vesta Steeb of Fort Collins, Colo., and Reba 
Geist of Warfordsburg; six sons: Delmas Bard, Lauren Bard, Denvin Bard and Lynn 
Bard all of Warfordsburg, Forrest Bard of Westford, Mass., and Carter Bard of  
Herdon, VA.; a sister: Georgia Decker of Harrisonville, PA.; four brothers: 
Michael Bard of Orbisonia, PA.; Raymond Bard of Philadelphia; Wayne Bard and 
Gerald Bard, both of Warfordsburg; 25 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
	He was preceded in death by two sisters, three brothers, and a 
stepmother, Elizabeth Strait Bard.
	Services were held at 11: AM Monday, July 3, at Jerusalem Christian 
Church in Warfordsburg, with the Rev. Delmas Bard assisted by the Rev. Karl 
Shuck and pastors of the Bedford-Fulton County Christian onference.  Burial was 
made in the church cemetery.
	Arrangements were by Howard L. Sipes Funeral Home Inc., Harrisonville, 
PA.
	Memorial donations may be made to Gideon's International,  Box 642, 
McConnellsburg, PA. 17233.
