	Earl T. Bard, 85, North First Street, McConnellsburg, died Saturday 
morning, February 11, 1978, in Fulton County Medical Center.
	Mr. Bard was born September 22, 1892, in Fulton County, son of the late 
Charles and Catherine Smith Bard.  He was a member of United Methodist Church 
of McConnellsburg, and for more than 40 years was employed by the American 
Bridge Company of  Ambridge, retiring in 1958. He was a member of the I.O.O.F 
of Ambridge.
	Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Blanche L. Sharpe Bard; three sisters and 
a brother: Mrs. Cleo Garland, Chambersburg; Mrs. Lessie Garland, and Mrs. Ruby 
Kerlin and George P. Bard all of McConnellsburg.
	The funeral was held at 2: PM on Monday, February 13, in the John J. 
Kelso Funeral Home in charge of the  ?  Rev. David Cheslock.  Burial was in 
Union Cemetery.  Fulton County News 2/16/1978.  On file at the Fulton County 
Historical Society.
