Services Are Held Sunday For Mrs. Jones
     The funeral of Mrs. Rossie O. Jones, 63, who died at the city hospital 
Saturday morning, was held at the Pleasant Grove Baptist church Sunday 
afternoon at 3 o'clock.  Rev. W. A. Joyner, pastor of the First Christian 
church, officiated.
     Mrs. Jones, born in Gwinnette [sic] county, Ga., had lived in the 28th 
District of Sumter county for seven years.
     She is survived by her husband, J. W. Jones; children, Gratis Jones, 
Social Circle, Ga.; Mrs. Ethel Moon, Grayson, Ga.; Mrs. Allie Harris, 
Stockbridge, Ga.; James W. Jones, Jefferson Barracks, Mo.; W. A. Jones, 
Americus; A. H. Jones, Miami; Mrs. Annie Lou Black, Vienna, Ga.; Mrs. T. E. 
McCrary, Americus; and Miss Mary Lizzie Jones, Americus; twenty-five 
grandchildren; one great-grandchild; father, W. L. Olds, Pitts, Ga.; sister, 
Mrs. Lora Wilson, Logansville; brothers, Pearlie Olds, Cordele; Ernest Olds, 
of Florida, and Vernie Olds of South Carolina.

Additional Comments:
Rossie Viola (Olds) Jones was born 25 November 1878 in Gwinnett Co., GA to 
Lucious Willie Olds and Frances Elizabeth (Clower) Olds.  She married James 
Wiley Jones on 8 August 1895 in Gwinnett Co., GA.
