Funeral services for Mrs. Laura Ella Hardy, 75, who died Thursday at the 
residence, 166 Juniper street, will be held this morning at 11 o'clock from 
the residence.  Rev. J.R. Mitchell will officiate and interment will be in 
Oakland cemetery.

The aged woman was born in Sumter county, Georgia, but had resided in Atlanta 
for the past 30 years.  She was a member of St. Mark's Methodist church.
Mrs. Hardy is survived, besides her husband, by one sister, Ruby Thompson, of 
Atlanta; a brother, James W. Lester, of Americus, and two nephews, Lesley M. 
Lester, of Atlanta and Linton Lester, of Americus.  The following will act as 
pallbearers at the funeral: H.M. Willis, J.J. Woodside, W.L. Curry, W.C. Lowe, 
Hubert Bradley and Lamont Myers.
