In the name of God Amen I Wm. Andrus Sener of orange County
and state of NCarolina Being Verey Aged But of sound Disposing
mind and Memorey thanks Be given unto God Cawling unto mind
the Mortality of my Body Knowing that it is appointed for all men
wonce to die do make and ordain this my last will and testament
first of all I Recommend my Soul to God that gave it and my Body
to the Earth to be Buried in a decent Cristien like Buriel at
the Discretion of my Executrs as tuching such worldly Estate where
with it hath pleased God to Bless me in this life I give him Dispose
in the following manner and form ~~~ ~~~ ~~~ ~~~ ~~~ ~~~ ~~~ ~~~

Item I ["give" blotted out] my Desire is that all my Just debts Should Be first
paid Itm I give and Bequeath to my son Starling Andrus
all my land lying west of the haw Branch & west of the
hogg Branch Itm I give and Bequeath to my son Archibel
Andrus all my land lying Easte of the Before Mentioned
Branches Itm I give and Bequeath to my son Laborn [Laban] Andrus
five Shillings Itm I give and Bequeath to my grand Children the lawfull
heirs of Elizabeth Edwards five Shillings Itm I give and Bequeath to my Son Marke
Andrus five Shilling[s] Itm I give and Bequeath to my Son John Andrus five
Shilling[s] Itm I give and Bequeath to my grand Children Milley Cate and
William Cate and Polley Cate five Shillings Each I give and Bequeath to
my Daughter Patsy Cheek five Shillings Itm I give and Bequeath
to my son Henry Andrus five Shillings Itm I give and Bequeath to my
Daughter Ginny Cheek five Shillings Itm I give and Bequeath to
my son Wm Andrus five Shillings Itm I give and Bequeath to my son
Archibel Andrus all my persinal Estat at my death I also
Constitute and appoint my son Laborn Andrus & Marke Andrus
Executors to this my last will and testament in witness
whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 15th day
of february 1820

The Execution of the foregoing last Will & testament of Wm.
Andrews was duly proved in open Court by the oath of
Thomas Brewer a subscribing Witness thereto & ordered
to be recorded ~~ At the same time Laban Andrews qual=
=ified as Executor accordingly
